howdy kids,

this woman in work, although she knows me, keeps calling me eugene. in front of other people too.

it's funny, but also worrying.

'cos i have a shirt which says, in small letters on the back... 'eugene'.

we live in troubled times. be good

she didn't forget!

every year my cousin sends me an advent calendar.

it arrived on friday! phew. i though she'd forgotten or i'd got too old, but no, all is well and i am the proud owner of aforementioned countdown clock.

i think this tradition may continue until one of us gets married or something more sinister happens - if anything can.

today i went for a drive up to the beach, and i played my WHAM! cd. it's amazing how you forget the really early singles, which is not entirely a bad thing. 'last christmas' is a work of art, and 'edge of heaven' is worth a wait in pergatory to hear. but while you're in purgatory you might hear the WHAM! rap. eep!

i thought about deleting that last paragraph, but i have no cool reputation to uphold...
